Description

Thermodynamic properties of the niobium-titanium alloys are investigated to determine the values of the component depolarization effects depending on the alloy composition and estimation of appearance probability of joint discharge at the expence of the effects mentioned. On the basis of measurements of emf of the concentration chain Tisub(Tsub(σ)) electrolyte with Ti/Ti-Nb-ions the (Tsub(σ) alloy at 973-1123 K activity coefficients and partial molar isobar-isothermal potentials of titanium and niobium are calculated. Ii is established that approach of equilibrium potentials of the components at the expence of alloy formation takes place only for the alloys, containing less than 60% at. Ti
