Spectral-time characteristics of generation in the region of p-band of CdS crystal

Description
An investigation was made of the spectral-temporal characteristics of stimulated emission from CdS in the region of the P band. The time resolution in this investigation was approximately 10-10 sec and the spectral resolution was approximately 1 Angstrom. The results obtained made it possible to attribute the P band to the radiative recombination in a nonequilibrium electron-hole plasma heated to T is approximately 60deg K
