Compounds with tellurium-nitrogen bond
Description
The interaction reaction is studied between tellurium tetrafluoride (chloride) and trimethylsilyl dialkyl amines. Tellurium tetrafluoride is found to react with silylized secondary amines in a benzene solution at 20 deg C and to yieldtellurium bis (dialkylamino)-difluorides. Tellurium bis (dialkylamino)-difluorides react with hexamethyl disilyl amides of arene sulphoacids to form N-aryl sulphonyl iminotelluric acid derivatives. 19F NMR is used to establish that the molecules of tellurium bis (dialkyl amino) difluorides represent a trigonal bipyramid constituting two axially-positioned fluorine atoms and an undivided electron pair and two equatorially-positioned dialkyl amino groups
