Clinical application and results of neutron therapy
Description
After describing the theoretical advantages of neutron therapy the paper analyzes statistical data on recovery published by the world's biggest neutron therapy centers. In Essen the following cases have been treated: 50 tumours of the head and neck, 24 primary bone tumors and 70 sarcomas of soft tissues. The results do not significantly differ from those of photon therapy. (L.E.)
