Description
A computer code for the prediction of the steady state and transient performance of integral steam drum type steam generator has been developed and used for predicting the behaviour of steam generator used in PHWRs under different load conditions. From the steady state results it is seen that the primary temperature varies almost linearly along the length. The recirculating ratio varies steeply with load at low powers while the variation is marginal at high powers. The recirculation flow increases with increase in loads and then decreases, with the maximum at about 55 per cent load. (author). 9 refs., 2 tabs., 6 figs
