Isolated and binary millisecond pulsars and accretion spun-up neutron stars
Description
Assuming that the two millisecond pulsars have acquired their ultra fast spins by accretion from a companion who may either have since completely tidally disrupted (1973+214) or may have remained as a very light dwarf companion (1953+29), the author concentrates on three selected remarks concerning that scenario. They are as follows: (1) the thermal origin of neutron stellar magnetic fields and its relation to 1937+214; (2) the P-P relationship, P being the spun-up period and P its time derivative; and (3) what ever happened to the companion of 1937+214. 10 references
