Experiments with the system of external ion injection for the U-120M
Description
Injection system for the U-120M isochronous cyclotron is discussed, an operating model of its main part, namely, transport channel is developed and a spiral inflector is manufactured. The system acceptance lower boundary which appeared to be notably lower than the calculated value, is evaluated. 4 refs.; 7 figs
