Redox transformations in the surface layer of complex RBa2Cu3Oy oxides (R = Nd, Ho, Y) and their catalytic properties in CO oxidation

Description
Initial stages of redox transformations in the surface layer of complex oxides with the RBa2Cu3Oy (R = Nd, Ho, Y) composition at their reaction with CO and O2 in non-stationary conditions were studied using pulse microcatalytic method. It is demonstrated that weak-connected oxygen is removed, surface layer produced by reduction of RBa2Cu3Oy is formed during interaction of RBa2Cu3Oy (R = Nd, Ho, Y) phases with CO. RBa2Cu3Oy oxides established to be possess of ability to reoxidation following reduction treatment. Principal capability of multicomponent RBa2Cu3Oy volume phase oxygen participation in reaction of catalytic oxidation of CO was shown
Abstract (Russian)
С использованием импульсного микрокаталитического метода исследованы начальные стадии окислительно-восстановительных превращений в поверхностном слое сложных оксидов состава RBa2Cu3Oy (R = Nd, Ho, Y) при их взаимодействии с СО и О2 в нестационарных условиях. Показано, что при взаимодействии фаз RBa2Cu3Oy (R = Y, Ho, Nd) с СО удаляется слабосвязанный кислород, формируется поверхностный слой продуктов восстановления RBa2Cu3Oy. Установлено, что после восстановительной обработки оксиды RBa2Cu3Oy сохраняют способность к реокислению. Показана принципиальная возможность участия кислорода объемной фазы многокомпонентных оксидов RBa2Cu3Oy в реакции каталитического окисления СОAdditional details
