Low-temperature radiation copolimerization of tetrafluoroethylene with perfluorovinyl ethers
Description
Radiation copolymerization of perfluoropropoxypropylvinyl and perfluoropropylvinyl ethers (PFPVE) with tetrafluoro-ethylene (TFE) at low temperatures and 60Co gamma radiation dose rate of 25 kGy/h is investigated. It is concluded that copolymerization occurs in a solid phase directly in course of radiolysis at 77 K and at mixture heating up to the temperature of devitrification (90-100 K). Observed in this case change of cpolymer composition may be connected with the temperature dependences of TFE ad PFPVE reactivity with the temperature changing more than 300 K
