Measuring a hollow electron beam profile
Description
Electron guns installed in electron-cooling devices produce beams whose 2D profiles are variable. The profiles were measured at the test bench by passing a wire across the beam, while the electric current from the wire and the light radiation along the wire were monitored, as well as the position of the wire
