Observations of radio wave backscattering from an artificial disturbance region at the frequency of 1768 MHz

Description

The article presents the results of observing the signals of backscattering at 1.68 MHz from artificial ionospheric inhomogeneities under effect of a power radiation on F-region of ionosphere. The backscattered signals were observed from altitudes which were 100-120 km lower the level of powerful radiowave reflection. The occurrence of the inhomogeneities at the above altitudes is related to the heating up of ionosphere along geomagnetic field force lines
