Atomic nuclei, elementary particles, and the space explored from nuclear spins
Description
In explaining the present state of the space, the problem of nucleosynthesis and the problem of material creation in the early space stand out as big mysteries. These mysteries of the space are closely related to the properties of atomic nuclei and elementary particles. For example, the properties of exotic nuclei or the basic symmetry of elementary particles are expected to hold the key to unraveling the mysteries. This paper introduces an approach with focus on the nuclear spin of atomic nuclei, while touching on recent research results and future prospects. (A.O.)

現在の宇宙の姿を説明する上で、元素合成の問題や、宇宙初期の物質創成の問題が大きな謎として立ちはだかっています。これらの宇宙の謎は原子核や素粒子の性質とも密接に関わっており、例えばエキゾチック原子核の性質、あるいは素粒子の基本対称性などが、謎の解明の鍵を握ると期待されています。ここでは、原子核の核スピンに注目したアプローチについて、最近の研究成果や今後の展望に触れつつ紹介します。(著者)Additional details
