Neutron multiplication corrections for passive thermal neutron well counters
Description
Various techniques are surveyed for the neutron-multiplication correction of plutonium assays using thermal neutron coincidence counters. Examples are presented for a wide range of plutonium samples. Calculator programs for use with the High-Level Neutron Coincidence Counter (HLNCC) are described
