Polarization effects in the esup(-)+sup(6)Li → esup(-)+sup(6)Lisup(ast)(3.56MeV)
Description
Polarization effects in the process of inelastic electron scattering by the 6Li, e-+6Li→e-+6Li *(3.56) nuclei with excitation of the level with Jsup(P)=O+, I=1. In case of scattering of polarized electrons by a target with the vector polarization in the e-+6Li→e-+6Li* reaction the following problems can be solved: if the degpee of the longitudinal electron polapization is known, the degree of the target vector polarization can be detepmined and vice versa, if the degree of the target vector polarization is known, the degree of the incident electron beam longitudinal polarization can be determined. The asymmetry of non-polarized electron scattering on a quadrupole-polarized target can be used for determining the degree of quadrupole polarization of the ipitial nucleus, Scattering of electrons (non polarized and polarized) by a polarized target is considered. The values of both A1+ and A2 asymmetries characterizing electroD scattering on a polarized target, may be predicted for any energy of the ipitial electron and electron scattering angle independently of the knoWledge of electromagnetic form/factor of the 6Li→6Li* transition
