Polarization operator in (2+1)-dimensional quantum electrodynamics in external magnetic field
Description
The polarization operator in (2+1)-dimensional quantum electrodynamics in one-loop approximation in external magnetic field is calculated. Its eigenvector expansion is obtained and analytical properties of eigenstates are investigated. In particular, in contrast to QED3+1, at the thresholds of electron-positron-pair creation the polarization operator has first-order poles
