On the quantum group structure in WZW models and Chern-Simons theories

Description
This paper discusses the origin of quantum group features in both Wess-Zumino-Witten models and (2 + 1)-dimensional topological Chern-Simons theories. The authors identify certain matrices in these theories whose elements obey commutation relations characteristic of a quantum group
