Calculation of proton-induced radioisotope production yields with a statistical-model based code

Description
A computer code based on a statistical model was used for the calculation of cross sections and production yields for proton-induced reactions. Product nuclei of interest were 30P, 63Zn, 67Ga, 73Se, 77Kr, 81Rb, 123I, 127Xe and 201Tl. Comparison of calculated yields with data from the literature shows that both figures agree to within a factor of 2. Calculated yields are suggested to be used as an estimate in the development of radioisotope production regimes. (author)
