Description

Uranium prospecting in magmatic and metamorphic terrain of the Pakistan Himalayas and Karakorams has yielded numerous radiometric and geochemical uranium anomalies in varied geological environments. A brief description of some of the significant occurrences discovered in granites, graphitic metapelites, anatectic granitoids and carbonatites is presented. (author). 10 refs, 9 figs
