Description
We calculate explicitely the electromagnetic mass splittings induced within the ground state baryons by the mass difference between the u and d quarks. This is performed in the framework of the non-relativistic potential model with an accurate treatment of the three-body problem. We also discuss the charge radius of the neutron. (orig.)
