Quantization of self-dual fields with second-order derivatives

Description
We generalize the Faddeev-Jackiw method to quantize a self-dual theory containing second derivatives and, as a contrast, apply the Dirac method to the same theory. We show the consistency of the two quantization methods. (Author)
