Properties of the radiation of relativistic positrons reflecting from solid surface

Description
Radiation properties of ultrarelativistic positrons reflecting at small angles from the surface of a solid body (reflective radiation of positrons) have been investigated in the dipole approximation. Interaction potential of a charged particle and the solid body surface is taken in the form of a simple linear approximation of the Lindhard potential of a crystalline plane. Analytical expressions for spectral and angular distributions as well as for the polarization characteristics of the reflective radiation have been obtained. It is shown that the radiation considered are comparable with synchrotronous radiation of the same particles in magnetic fields of 107 gauss intensity with respect to basic characteristics
