New oxide phases Ln2-xSr1+xCuMnO6.5 (Ln=Pr, Nd): synthesis and magnetic properties

Description
New compounds Pr1.5Sr1.5CuMnO6.5 and Nd1.5Sr1.5CuMnO6.5 with the structure An+1BnO3n+1 (n=2) are prepared. The Ln2-xSr1+xCuMnO6.5 (Ln=Pr, Nd) samples were synthesized by the solid phase reactions method from simple oxides. Composition of samples is controlled by X-ray diffraction technique. Magnetic susceptibility of both compounds follows the Curie-Weiss law at higher than 300 K. Local ferromagnetic ordering of pairs of magnetic ions is fixed below than this temperature by ESR
Abstract (Russian)
Получены новые соединения Pr1.5Sr1.5CuMnO6.5 и Nd1.5Sr1.5CuMnO6.5 со структурой An+1BnO3n+1 (n=2). Синтез образцов Ln2-xSr1+xCuMnO6.5 (Ln=Pr, Nd) осуществляли методом твердофазных реакций из простых оксидов. Состав образцов контролировали рентгенофазовым анализом. Магнитная восприимчивость обоих соединений следует закону Кюри-Вейса выше 300 К. Ниже этой температуры методом ЭПР зафиксировано локальное ферромагнитное упорядочение пар магнитных ионовAdditional details
