Adsorption of lead(2) and cadmium(2) ions on the surface of a nitrocellulose membrane modified with denaturated deoxyribonucleic acid

Description
The adsorption of the lead(2) and cadmium(2) ions on the surface of the amperometric biosensor on the basis of the nitrocellulose membrane, modified with the denaturated DNA (d-DNA) is studied. It is established that by the combined adsorption of these ions, available in the mixture, the lead(2) ions are bound d-DNA molecules more efficiently in comparison with the cadmium(2) ions. The values of the constant of binding the lead(2) and cadmium(2) ions with the immobilized d-DNA constitute correspondingly (12.0±0.3)x105 M-1 and (0.6±0.2)x105 M-1
Abstract (Russian)
Изучена адсорбция ионов свинца(2) и кадмия(2) на поверхности амперометрического биосенсора на основе нитроцеллюлозной мембраны, модифицированной денатурированной ДНК (д-ДНК). Установлено, что при совместной адсорбции этих ионов, присустствующих в смеси, ионы свинца(2) связываются с молекулами д-ДНК более эффективно по сравнению с ионами кадмия(2). Значения константы связывания ионов свинца(2) и кадмия(2) с иммобилизированной д-ДНК составили соответственно (12.0±0.3)x105 M-1 и (0.6±0.2)x105 M-1Additional details
