CT planning for intracavitary irradiation

Description
Treatment planning system of intracavitary irradiation for the uterine cervical cancer, using CT images, is developping in our institute. Dose evaluation of target volume will be expressed by dose-volume curve of tumor, showing the dose of classical Manchester's A and the minimum dose of target volume. Also, a dose evaluation of critical organs will be made by dose-volume curves, calculating a complication probability factor (CPF) as one of evaluation factors. With this system, alternative doses of normal organs, which will be changed according to various refference point of tumor, can easily be shown and this evaluation will lead to get a well optimized therapy planning.
