Cable line for a trunk channel
Description
An interface highway channel cable line matched at both ends is described. Basic circuits of an amplifier-transmitter and amplifier-receiver intended to connect serial integrated logic circuits to this matched cable are considered. Experimental investigations of a 300-m long cable line with 32 devices connected have demonstrated stable operation of the highway both in static and dynamic operating conditions in the temperature range from -10 to +70 deg C. Earth faults of the line do not affect the amplifier serviceability. After elimination of the fault the line continues to function normally
