Heat treatment effect on welded joint structure of 22Kh3M steel
Description
An investigation on improvement of the welded joint mechanical properties has involved an experimental study on structure of 22Kh3M steel welded joints after repeated thermal treatment aimed at the amendment of overheating effects in the heat affected zone. It is shown that fast repeated heating, particularly if preceded by annealing, can decrease the grain size in the near-weld zone without deteriorating the structure of the other participants of the heat-affected zone and the structure of the basic metal
