Low temperature transport anomalies in magnetic Kondo-lattice CeAl2
Description
A wide temperature range (1.8-300 K) resistivity and Hall coefficient measurements have been carried out in magnetic fields up to 80 kOe on high quality polycrystalline samples of a magnetic Kondo-lattice CeAl2. The investigation of angular and magnetic field dependencies of the Hall coefficient and magnetoresistance in paramagnetic and modulated antiferromagnetic phases of CeAl2 allows to deduce a very complicated Hall effect consisting of a normal and several anomalous contributions (skew-scattering and magnetic components)
