Detection of relative motion in a gravitational field
Creators
- 1. Victoria Univ., British Columbia (Canada). Dept. of Physics
Description
Aspects of local relative motion in general relativity are clarified and it is shown that Ceapa's reasoning (see ibid. vol. 68A, p. 488, 1978) in concluding that cyrogenic cooling will not enhance the sensitivity of a gravitational wave detector is invalid. (Auth.)
