Description
We compare the angle-ordering approximation to gluon jet development at the next-to-leading order to the full next-to-leading corrections obtained in the jet calculus framework. This discussion is confined to the order αsub(S)2 contribution to exclusive gluon -> 3 gluon decay. We discuss briefly the emergence of the angle-ordering approximation in ordered momentum regions but illustrate its inadequacy over the bulk of phase space. (orig.)
