Disposal of radioactive wastes from nuclear power plants

Description

The paper presents the review of chosen methods of disposal of radioactive wastes from nuclear power plants. The works on this subject carried out at the Institute of Nuclear Research for the first Polish nuclear power plant have been also discussed. Particular attention has been paid to the problem of quantity of waste, method of solidificaton, bailing of solid waste and final storage. (author)
