Accelerator Availability and Reliability Issues
Description
Maintaining reliable machine operations for existing machines as well as planning for future machines' operability present significant challenges to those responsible for system performance and improvement. Changes to machine requirements and beam specifications often reduce overall machine availability in an effort to meet user needs. Accelerator reliability issues FR-om around the world will be presented, followed by a discussion of the major factors influencing machine availability
