Description

In June 2014 seven players active in research, industry, training and economic development of the Gard department (south-eastern France) created PVSI (Industrial Site Recycling Cluster) initiative for promoting the competence and the skills available in this region concerning dismantling, depollution and remediation in the nuclear field. PVSI initiative will contribute to the regional economic development thanks to the implementation of the following approaches: -) improving members' international competitiveness and positions through increased collaborative efforts focusing on innovations and cross fertilization between nuclear and non-nuclear industries, -) developing within the region new industrial sectors created from the needs expressed by the dismantling industry (robotics, imaging, waste processing...).
