Description
We present a theoretical analysis of the optical properties of quantum-dot aggregates with diagonal and offdiagonal disorder. Dot-to-dot exciton energy transport by the resonant dipole-dipole interaction is dealt with in the system of semiconductor nanocrystals embedded in a conjugated polymer matrix film. In order to investigate the absorption spectrum of the aggregates and excitation transport among quantum dots, we consider both the diagonal disorder due to dot size disparity and the offdiagonal disorder due to conformational and inter-dot-distance randomness.
