The largest breeder reactor in the world: Super-Phenix

Description
In the Federal Republic of Germany completion of the construction work seems to be endangered; in France it is expected to feed electricity into the national grid as early as 1983 - Super-Phenix; at present work on world's largest breeder reactor is going ahead briskly. The technological problems involved, say the technical experts, have been solved 'in practice'. A report on how far the work has advanced, how it operates and what is expected of the fast breeder in the future. (orig.)

In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland scheint die Vollendung des Baus gefaehrdet, in Frankreich soll er 1983 bereits Strom in das oeffentliche Netz speisen - Super-Phenix, derzeit der Welt groesster Schneller Brutreaktor wird zuegig vorangestrieben. Dabei sind, so sagen die technischen Experten, die anstehenden technologischen Probleme 'praktisch' geloest.
