Self-consistent calculations of nuclear total binding energies

Description

Total binding energies of more than 150 nuclei have been calculated using the Hartree-Fock approximation and the effective Skyrme interaction. The calculated energies agree with the experimental values within less than 5MeV once the effects of deformation and pairing correlations have been taken into account

Les energies de liaison de plus de 150 noyaux ont ete calculees dans le cadre de l'approximation de Hartree-Fock avec l'interaction effective de Skyrme. Les ecarts entre les valeurs theoriques et experimentales ne depassent pas 5MeV une fois que l'on a tenu compte des effets de deformation et des correlations d'appariement
