Description

The large polarization recently reported by Fermilab experiment E691 in D → K* lv casts doubt on quark model form factors. We investigate whether unitarity corrections can make the standard quark model consistent with the E691 data. Despite significant corrections, we show that the quark model still can not achieve the high polarization of the E691 data. Unitarity corrections, including CP-odd effects, will be visible in the next generation experiments. (orig.)
