Description
Non-ionizing electromagnetic and acoustic waves (ONIEAs) present different types of interactions with living organisms, whether the latter produce them, use them or are exposed to them. These interactions are the subject of recently renewed international scientific interest, with sometimes astonishing discoveries. They are sources of potential breakthroughs and innovations, mainly resulting from public and trans-disciplinary research, in the medical, industrial, informational and agricultural fields, even in defence, in which certain countries or players are particularly present. This exploratory report, mainly based on scientific publications and interviews, summarizes the known modes of action and uses of ONIEAs in these sectors, as well as recent results. It proposes six sets of recommendations for a responsible development of the potentialities of ONIEAs

Les ondes non ionisantes electromagnetiques et acoustiques (ONIEA) presentent differents types d'interactions avec les organismes vivants, que ces derniers les produisent, les utilisent ou y soient exposes. Ces interactions font l'objet d'un interet scientifique international recemment renouvele, avec des decouvertes parfois etonnantes. Elles sont sources de ruptures et d'innovations potentielles, majoritairement issues de recherches publiques et transdisciplinaires, dans les domaines medicaux, industriels, informationnels et agricoles, voire de defense, sur lesquels certains pays ou acteurs sont particulierement presents. Ce rapport exploratoire, principalement fonde sur des publications et des entretiens scientifiques, resume les modes d'action et les usages connus des ONIEA dans ces secteurs, ainsi que des resultats recents. Il propose six ensembles de recommandations pour un developpement responsable des potentialites des ONIEA
