Interphase transfer of uranium between phosphoric acid and organic extractants in kerosene using the Lewis cell technique

  • 1. INA-Research and Development, Zagreb (Yugoslavia)

Description

The interphase transfer of U(VI) between phosphoric acid, real and model, and kerosene solutions of D2EHPA-TOPO extractants with variable amount of aromatic hydrocarbons has been studied using the Lewis cell technique. It was observed that the content of aromatic hydrocarbons in diluent play a significant role in the extraction of uranium (VI) whether the real or model phosphoric acid were used. (author)
