Australia's contribution to international cooperation through nuclear science and technology

Description
The development of nuclear science in Australia has benefited enormously from cooperation with staff from major overseas facilities. These benefits are balanced by support for programs of technology transfer to developing countries under the auspices of the IAEA or other arrangements. A recent development is the establishment of a number of bilateral relationships with institutes in the Region which are a conduit for the two way flow of technology and may be a pointer to the future. In this paper, Australia's contribution to the international cooperation is placed in a broad historical and policy content
