Measurements of the polarized sky background in the far infrared
Description
Observations carried out with a balloon-borne polarimeter have shown an upper limit of about 1% for the polarization of the Cosmic Background radiation in the 500-1500 μm wavelength region. Moreover, some particular features of the atmospheric emission are discussed. (author)
