The isolation of CuII and CdII mixed ligand complexes with salicylaldehyde semicarbazone (hereafter SSCZ) and thiourea (tu)/γ-picoline (γ-(pic)/isoquinoline (iq)/pyridine-N-oxide (pyNO) or triphenyl phosphine (Ph3p) in stoichiometric ratio and their characterisation on the basis of analytical, molecular weight, molar, conductance, magnetic, infrared, electronic and 1H nmr spectral data are reported.
