Concentric cylindrical inlet and outlet of steam generator coolant for nuclear power plants

Heat exchange tubes of steam generators are usually of various lengths, which results in the heat exchange medium having diverse temperature at outlet. The object of the patented equipment is to remove this shortcoming by dividing the heat exchange tubes according to their lengths into groups and attaining equal output temperature for the individual groups by different flow rate of the heat exchange medium. Serving this is a concentric cylindrical inlet and outlet of the medium from the bundle of tubes in which are formed outlet chambers with orifice plates determining the flow rate of the heat exchange medium.
