Description
In the perspective of a possible extension of nuclear reactors operating life beyond 40 years, IRSN has undertaken advanced studies on the aging of steel in reactor vessels. As part of her post-doctoral research, Deyana Tchitchekova has developed a new method to simplify simulation of aging processes at the atomic scale. (author)
