Emergency provisions of improved pressurized water nuclear reactor

Description

The system is provided with compensating space and gas circuit. The safety is enhanced by proper compensating vapor-gas space and connected additional gas contour funtioning at abnormal conditions. For this purpose a strong negative feedback is used arising at above-normal hydraulic-thermal states of the coolant, reducing the power generated in the most loaded points of the core. A temporal local bubbling in the sub-cooled heat carrier arises which leads to a selfsecuring effect of the feedback and prevent from the overloading of the nuclear fuel and the whole reactor pressure system. 1 cl., 1 fig
