Description
The test in the field and measuring results with a continuous iodine monitor are described. The measuring results show that properties of the monitor are stable, the monitor has not only a function of automatically adjusting measuring period and fast response time but also can very sensitively give out regulation of 131I concentration varied with time. We have compared the results measured by continuous iodine monitor with the results analysed by accumulative sampling with gamma spectrometer. Both agree within +-30%. It can be used for measuring the release from the nuclear facilities in normal operation and general accident condition
