Proton spectroscopic factors in some N = 88 isotones from the pairing-plus-quadrupole model
Description
Using the deformed quasiparticle wavefunctions obtained in the pairing-plus-quadrupole model at the equilibrium deformation (β0, γ0) of the N = 88 isotones Nd, Sm and Gd, the spectroscopic factors S+sub(j) = (2j + 1)u2sub(j) have been calculated for the single-proton states in the N = 4, 5 shells. Comparison is made with the data from the proton stripping reactions (3He,d) and (α,t) giving the product nuclei 149Pm, 151Eu and 153Tb. The effect of a small deformation of the even-even core is also investigated. (author)
