Covid innovations: distance expert work
Description
As in any other sectors, remote working has been largely implemented in nuclear industry during the Covid crisis. This article deals with changes in working organization in Framatome, Orano and REEL. In most cases experts and technicians have learnt to manage interventions remotely thanks to adequate equipment like video-cameras, microphone, headset, viewing screens, WiFi and 4G technologies and dedicated software so that the expert since his office could watch and communicate with the technician intervening on site
