Softening of Cr-Co-Ni stainless steel under radiation

Description
Comparative investigation of radiation temperature effect on mechanical properties of Kh18N10T and 000Kh14K13N4M3TVD steels is carried out. It is shown that their 6ehaviour varied. Mechanical properties of the Kh18N10T steel vary under electron radiation very weakly, but at the same time in the 000Kh14K13N4M3TVO steel observes sharp softening at radiation temperature approximately 200 deg C. The explanation of this effect is carried out by means of radiation-induced structural phase transformations
