Microscopic analysis of inclusive spectra and polarization characteristics of (p, n), (n, p), (p-vector, n-vector) and (n-vector, p-vector) reactions on 54Fe at EN=300 MeV

Description

The inclusive spectra of 54Fe(p, n)54Co and 54Fe(n, p)54Mn reactions are calculated in the framework of the distorted waves impulse approximation with the transition densities of the finite Fermi-system theory with an accurate account of pairing, ph-continuum, and effective interactions in ph and pp channels at the nucleon initial energy EN ≅ 300 MeV. The calculated spectra are in good agreement with recent TRIUMF experiments. The microscopic analysis of the polarization transfer coefficients is also performed for the reactions (p, n) and (n, p) with polarized nucleons on 54Fe at EN ≅ 300 MeV
