Calculation of the probability for π0→e+e- and Ksup(0)sub(L)→μsup(+)μsup(-) decay in strong electromagnetic field

Description

Probabilities of the decays π → e+e-, Ksub(L) → μ+ μ- in external electromagnetic field corresponding to the plane wave with linear and circular polarizations and in constant crossed fields are calculated. Estimates for the probabilities are given for various limiting values of the characteristic parameters. It is shown that the decays are suppressed by the external field
